About Me

Hello

My name is Nuya Lindlar

I was born in Bali, Indonesia and schooled in Basel, Switzerland. I spent most of my life travelling between these two very different countries, sucking up both cultures and ways of artisanry. Ever since I was a child I was crazy about making my own things.
After school I headed for the Hochschule Luzern, where I was introduced to more techniques of expression.
I especially enjoy Metalworking, Woodcarving, Sculpting with clay and PU foam, filming and editing as well as painting. The pencil however, has remained my most used tool. Drawing miles worth of lines, I sketch to think, to understand and visualize my ideas.

With my wish to combine improvement and technical solutions with aesthetic form, I was very happy to find the Design Academy Eindhoven and graduated from the  department ‘Man and Mobility’ with my project 'ONE-2L'.
